Every year the London Bridge Christian Churches organize community Good Friday and Easter Sunrise services. Both services offer special music and speakers from around the community.
This year, with the pandemic threatening all social gatherings, the London Bridge Christian Churches partnered with Your Celebration Radio Network to air their services live across our listening area. This allowed many people around Arizona and parts of surrounding states to enjoy the Passion Week services while maintaining social distancing.
The Good Friday service was based on the seven last statements Jesus spoke from the cross. Speakers included Dr. David Bybee, of Community Presbyterian; Reverend Craig Corbin, of Mt Olive Lutheran; Pastor Tim Giles, of Inspire the Church; Stephanie Lueras, of Community Presbyterian Church; Pastor Dale Ray, of Lakeview Community Church; Pastor Ryan Speakman, of Living Word Family Church; and Pastor Kay Zimmerman, of City on a Hill International Church. Pastor Kay also shared a message during the Easter Sunday morning sunrise service. Participants of the sunrise service also included Pastor Dean Wiles of Abundant Grace Church and Pastor Ray Carter of Redemption Hill Calvary Chapel.
The London Bridge Christian Churches work together to share the gospel throughout the Lake Havasu community. They organize several community services each year.
