The Artemis II mission has caused some people to reflect on the beauty of God’s creation from a unique perspective. Seeing Earth from deep space can profoundly impact those who make the journey. It has been reported that Artemis II commander Reid Wiseman was deeply moved by the experience and became emotional after the mission when he encountered a chaplain wearing a cross. Another Artemis II crew member spoke openly about faith, even quoting Scripture as the crew reflected on the beauty of creation.

Moments like these remind us that when we look at the wonders of the universe, our hearts are often drawn to the One who made it all.

Psalm 8:3-4 says, “When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars... what is mankind that You are mindful of him?” The vastness of space has a unique way of inspiring humility, gratitude, and wonder.
