KNLB Now Operates on Solar

Last fall, you helped raise $25,000 for a new antenna system that now allows us to operate at our solar site just east of Lake Havasu on Crossman Peak.
Upon building the solar site, nearly two years ago, Alive FM began to be powered by the sun. Now KNLB’s main transmitter, too, is operating at the solar site at an even higher level, meaning the signal reaches farther to impact more souls for Christ!
The move required the newer four-bay antenna to be lifted high on the tower by a professional four-man tower crew out of Tucson—the same crew that erected the tower in the fall of 2024.
This move also means an average savings of over $1000 per month in electricity.
Even at its previous site, KNLB on 91.1 FM, was heard in Quartzsite. Now the contour will allow our main transmitter to broadcast a strong signal, reliable signal all over the favored wintertime recreational vehicle area.
The photos above show men on the tower, with help on the ground, to make our signal the best it can be!
Thank you for your prayers and financial support that made this improvement possible!
